Don Wang, MEd, CRC

Vocational Specialist

Don Wang has been a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor since 2007. Don is professionally trained and a nationally certified vocational rehabilitation counselor (CRC) with approximately 13 years’ experience in conducting vocational evaluations and assessments. He is competent in developing core rehabilitation programs and driving them to their maximum capability. Don has hands-on experience in evaluating work skills and capacities and formulating dedicated vocational plans for each injured worker. He is also proficient in analyzing information received from referring sources and developing vocational diagnoses.

Prior to working as vocational rehabilitation counselor, Don worked as graduate assistant in Kent State University, assisting professors with research and training activities for the Access to Quality Higher Education Projects. In 2006, Don was named Outstanding Academic Scholar from Phi Beta Delta, the Honor Society for International Scholars. In 2007, he was selected as a receiver of Outstanding Scholarly Achievement from Milton E. Wilson Scholarship.

Don holds his BA degree in Linguistics (Russian and English) in The National Technical University of Ukraine. He received his master’s degrees from Kent State University in Ohio. His current credentials include Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Transitional Work Developer. Don is fluent in Chinese and English. CV available upon request.
